Chrisphine Odhiambo

Chrisphine draws his inspiration from the roadside moments of childhood-watching matatus rush past, alive with colour, motion, and character. Using carton boxes as his first medium, he transformed imagination into form, building and riding miniature matatus through his neighbourhood. Over time, play became purpose. Today, his finely crafted prototypes of modern matatus and automobiles capture the rhythm of urban life, preserving movement, memory, and the enduring spirit of the city in sculptural form.
