Oppression

A rigid figure stands exposed; chest opened not in vulnerability but in force. At the center, a heart is gripped tightly, removed from its natural place and restrained by the very body meant to protect it. The closed eyes suggest resignation, while the tense posture reflects endurance rather than peace. This work visualizes oppression as an internalized condition, where control is not only imposed from outside but carried within.
